Photo style
Photos play a significant role in conveying Nordisk Film’s brand identity and the photos we use resemble the modern company we are.
We divide our photos into the following four photo categories:
- People photos
- Product photos
- Polar bear photos
- Profile photos from Egmont

How we portray people
We are a creative bunch. Edgy, diverse and passionated. We want to give the impression of a modern company and to appeal to the modern consumer. Our images and models reflects this.
We focus on making our photos as authentic as possible. To radiate personality, diversity, straightforwardness and edge.
We avoid using too many stock photos, and in cases where we do use them, we focus on finding photos that look authentic and have a Nordic touch.
To keep the expression as striking as possible, we use photos containing few people, and preferably only one or two persons should be in focus.

How we show products
We are proud of our broad spectrum of products, from movies and games to digital services and much more. Our products speak louder than words, and by showcasing them we demonstrate how we bring stories to life across media.
Product photos cover both images from our products, such as still images from our movies and games, and images taken of our products, such as photos of a device.
We focus on images with an artistic note and with colours matching the context of the communication they will appear as part of. If possible, the product photos should be styled to make sure they look as flattering as possible.

How we show our polar bear
When our beloved icon is visualized in pictures the polar bear must always be reflected in its natural cold environment. The ice must not be melting.
The polar bear may be a bit edgy and bossy, but never with an agressive appearance. It is furthermore important, that the polar bear looks natural and unpolished.

Profile photos from Egmont
Like Egmont we believe that our own employees are best at telling our story and showing what Nordisk Film is all about. Therefore, we use real employees in profile photos to show the diversity of people working in Nordisk Film and the different personalities.
Profile photos can be of employees showing or engaging with one of Nordisk Film’s products, or they can simply be photos of an employee having eye contact with the camera, showing his or her personality.
We use vibrant colours to underline the distinct product or the personality of the specific employee in the photo. At Nordisk Film, we have fun, we are diverse, and we are passionate and ambitious. Our profile photos should convey this.

Our corporate photos are available and can be downloaded from the Nordisk Film Media Archive. Due to GDPR regulations, only employees in Nordisk Film, and not external parties, have access to the archive.
