Nordisk Film’s CFO and Executive Vice President, Thomas Rehling, has decided to step down and continue in an advisory role as well as with several board positions in companies owned by Nordisk Film. He will be succeeded by Morgan Habedank, currently CFO at Nordisk Games.

“I look back at 16 great years with Nordisk Film filled with good challenges, many learnings and the best colleagues one can hope for. It has not been an easy decision, but it is the right time for me to focus more of my time and energy on other aspects of life. I’ll clearly come to miss the products, the vibe and the great people across Nordisk Film and Egmont – I wish everyone a bright future!” says Thomas Rehling.

Nordisk Film’s CEO Allan Mathson Hansen says: "Thomas Rehling has had a decisive influence on Nordisk Film’s positive development and growth since he joined the company in 2008. He has built a strong financial organization and is well liked throughout Nordisk Film. I have great respect for his decision, but I will miss our daily close collaboration, his deep business understanding, insight and financial skills. Fortunately, we will continue to benefit from Thomas’ vast knowledge in the future.”

RECRUITING OWN TALENT

Morgan Habedank will be appointed as the new CFO and Executive Vice President of Nordisk Film with effect from 1 May 2025. He has a master’s degree in accounting and has worked in both the American and British film industries before joining Nordisk Film in 2020, first as CFO of Nordisk Film Distribution and later as CFO of Nordisk Games.

“I am very pleased that we have been able to recruit Thomas Rehling’s successor from within Nordisk Film. Morgan Habedank has a deep knowledge of the entertainment industry and has delivered excellent results here at Nordisk Film over the past five years. I look forward to working with him even closer,” says Allan Mathson Hansen.

“I am honored to be part of a company with such a strong history of storytelling and innovation and am looking forward to collaborating with a stellar team as we continue to create world-class content and experiences,” says Morgan Habedank.
