
Head of Fiction at TV 2 Denmark, Katrine Vogelsang, is joining Nordisk Film to become CEO of Nordisk Film Production as part of a strengthened management setup together with Henrik Zein as COO. Nordisk Film thus gets an experienced, recognised and respected industry profile who will be setting out the overall course for Nordisk Film’s production of films and series in the future.
Nordisk Film Production, which is Nordisk Film’s own production company, will be strengthening and expanding its management when Katrine Vogelsang joins as new CEO on 15 August. She comes from TV 2 Denmark where she has been Head of Fiction for the past 11 years. The current CEO of Nordisk Film Production, Henrik Zein, will continue as COO in the company once Katrine Vogelsang is on board.

Strong foundation at Nordisk Film Production
Katrine Vogelsang has been spearheading the development of series at TV 2 Denmark where she has also been in charge of the TV broadcaster’s venture into Danish film. She will now have the overall responsibility of defining the direction of Nordisk Film Production’s content, talent development and the continued expansion in the Nordic region, including ensuring a continued high number of productions, accelerating series ventures, further strengthening internal collaboration at Nordisk Film and setting the overall direction for external partners, broadcasters, streaming services, etc.
Katrine Vogelsang graduated as producer from the National Film School of Denmark in 2005, and then worked as producer at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR). She joined TV 2 Denmark as head of fiction in 2011 where she has been behind a significant increase in new series. She is now looking forward to becoming part of Nordisk Film, which is one of the world’s oldest film companies with a long tradition of producing some of the best, most innovative, popular and best-loved films and series.
Major offensive in the Nordic region
During the past years, Nordisk Film Production has been behind productions like ‘Rose’ (2022), ‘Cosmic Christmas’, (2021), ‘Queen of Hearts’ (2019), ‘A Fortunate Man’ (2018), ‘Land of Mine’ (2015), ‘A War’ (2015) and ‘Kon-Tiki’ (2012). The company currently has more than 30 films and series in production in the Nordic region.
