Flashbulb Games is the developer of the games Trailmakers, in which players build their own vehicles and use them to explore and compete in the game world, and Rubber Bandits, a multiplayer game in which up to four players battle each other. Flashbulb Games was founded in 2016, and Nordisk Games joined the ownership circle in 2017, taking full ownership in 2021.

Ole Teglbjærg, who will become CEO at Flashbulb Games, says:

“We have always been part of Flashbulb Games; it is our lifeblood. We are therefore delighted to have taken ownership of the company again and look forward to continuing to develop our games and business. We would like to thank Nordisk Games for their cooperation over the years."

“Flashbulb Games has a creative and talented team that we have greatly enjoyed working with. Going forward, Nordisk Games wants to focus its capital and management attention on its largest assets. We are therefore pleased to have found a solution that enables the original owners to continue running Flashbulb Games,” says Christopher Håkonsson, former interim CEO of Flashbulb Games and partner at Nordisk Games.

Following the sale of Flashbulb Games, Nordisk Games’ portfolio consists of four game studios: Avalanche Studios Group, Supermassive Games, Star Stable Entertainment AB and MercurySteam.
