A group of old friends reunite for New Years Eve, as they have done so many times before, for a night full of traditions and memories. But one of their friends, Martin, is not present as he passed away in a tragic incident years ago. This evening, Nomi, Martin’s former girlfriend, introduces her new boyfriend, Finn, to the group for the first time. But Finn doesn’t quite fit in and with a solid lack of situational awareness, he asks all the wrong questions, gradually forcing the group to confront what they’ve suppressed and reflect on their relationships – and not least, themselves. It will be an evening they will never forget, but also an evening that might open a door to a new beginning for every one of them.
